Meet the team
We're very proud of all our staff and consider them part of our family.
- Andrew
- Partner and Surveyor. Andrew is one of the industry's most skilled surveyors and is key to the planning stages of any move. Andrew named the business after his daughter Amber. When he's not wearing his Bob the Builder hat for surveys, he can be found treading the boards. He is actively involved with an amateur dramatic group and regularly performs in pantomimes and murder mysteries. Keeping up his fitness, he is currently studying for his Personal Trainer qualifications.
- Andrea
- Partner, and manager. Someone needs to be in charge and ensure that all the jobs get done, by the right people at the right time. In addition to marketing Amber Moves, she is also responsible for the financial management, an essential element of every business.
As a single mom to Isabella, Andrea doesn't get much free time, but when she has a moment you will find her in the kitchen. - Raquel
- The office star. Without Raquel nothing would get done. From answering the enquiries that come through to the office to the organisation of the move and appealing against parking tickets, she just makes everything happen with smooth efficiency. In her spare time, she tutors maths and English and has the patience of a saint.
- Matthew
- Matthew is married with one gorgeous son, Ryan. Matthew has worked his way up from a very junior trainee to our top man. He takes on all the responsibility for the large jobs and acts as a project manager on office moves. He is currently studying for his degree in Mechanical Engineering. His annual holidays are spent with his family in South Africa enabling him to return to work well rested and ready to tackle all the complications each job throws at him!
- Marcin
- Marcin lives locally with his lovely French girfriend. Marcin loves early starts and jobs that have been surveyed! In his spare time he spends many hours at the gym even though he gets a daily workout for free while doing his job.
- Peter
- Peter is a trained electrician and always has a smile and joke.
- Robert
- The strong, silent one.
- Gabriel
- Gabriel always has a question and is on every job that needs a strong man.
- Tamas, Roland , Peter, Nick and Adam

- Tamas, Roland , Peter, Nick and Adam are all valuable members of the team. Tamas's degree in Computer Engineering is a great help in this technological age, setting up computers once everything has been moved in. Nick can dismantle and reassemble any piece of furniture no matter how complicated. Our clients constantly tell us they have never seen such hard working men!

- We pride ourselves on being a family firm. Many of us have small children and understand the stresses and strains associated with trying to move with babies and toddlers. Right from the planning stages through to the unpacking, we take little needs into account. We even provide special toy labels!
